IMPLANTOLOGY

Tooth implantation

After a tooth loss, due to a lack of function, the jaw bone is broken down, and this process then takes place lifelong. Dental implantation can prevent this process and restore the appearance and function of the jawbone. Aside from

what the reasons for tooth loss were, the best solution is an implant.

What is a dental implant?

Dental implant is an artificial tooth root made of titanium. It is installed in local anesthesia either in the upper or lower jaw. The surgery is painless and short, after the sutures are placed, which are removed after 7-10 days. It should take 2-4 months to ensure that the bone grows securely around the implant and thus encloses the implant.

Who is all a candidate for a dental implant?

All who miss one or more teeth. This will allow these patients certain comfort and confidence that they will lack without these implants.

There are certain patients who lack bone to install an implant, so they either need artificial bone or their own bone as a filling. The filling is performed during the procedure if there is no major bone damage. If this is not the case, it must be done before the procedure.

Advantages of an implant

The installation will spare the rest of your teeth without any additional damage, and that is the favor you can do for your health. Only the implants ensure the language and chewing function that you had before losing. Studies show that the implantation success rate of an implant is 95% after 10 years, and only 30% for dental bridges, because it loses function after 7-10 years.

All-on-four concept (4 implants)

fixed teeth in one day

It represents a modern way of implanting 4 implants in the toothless upper or lower jaw in patients where certain anatomical conditions are shortened.

With this method, the patients receive a temporary/provisional fixed denture immediately after implantation, within 24 hours, which is worn for 3-4 months, after which the definitive denture, which can be made from different materials, such as acrylic, composite, metal-ceramic, zircon.

All-on-six concept (6 implants)

It represents a modern type of implantation of 6 implants in the edentulous upper or lower jaw, in which the patients do not represent any limiting factors in terms of insufficient bone end or other restrictive factors.

In addition, with this method, the patient immediately receives a temporary/provisional denture replacement within 24 hours after implantation, which is worn for 3-4 months, after which the definitive denture is obtained and made from various materials, acrylic, composite, metal-ceramic, zircon.

Superstructure with bars

This is a modern method for edentulous patients, where two, three or four implants are placed in the upper or lower jaw, where the connection is fixed with a bar that stabilizes the dentures. It is a removable denture made from acrylic and composite, which you have to take out to perform oral hygiene. Unlike the latter two methods, it is a cheaper option.

Sinus lift procedure

This is a method of raising the maxillary sinus and implants are placed immediately afterwards. We have many techniques and all are done using local anesthesia.

PFR (platelet rich fibrin)

To make the cure fast and proper, we use your own blood, which we first spin and from which we then use certain factors to get the best possible result.

Implants in aesthetic zone

Implants placements in aesthetic zone represents one of the biggest challenges in aesthetic dentistry.

In cases where the patient has to remove tooth for any reason in the smile line, the best solution to replace the missing tooth is with an implant and the associated crown.

Advantages of dental implant are: less surgical intervention and time savings. If possible, we try a temporary dental crown during implantation, which allows us to shape soft tissue and adapt it to the rest of our teeth. If this is not possible, our team of doctors will find another temporary solution until the final decision.
